DeMarcus Ware is an American retired football player and Super Bowl 50 champion. He played outside linebacker/defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos. He wore the #94 jersey and his accolades include 9x Pro Bowl, 4x First-team All-Pro, and 2x NFL sack leader. DeMarcus Omar Ware was born on July 31, 1982, in Auburn, Alabama. CAREER
Ware began his athletic career at Auburn High School. He was competitive in football, basketball, track, and baseball. Ware played linebacker and wide receiver, earning MVP honors for both. He recorded 7 sacks and 55 tackles his senior year. In track, he had standout performances in the long jump, high jump, and the 55-meter sprint. Ware continued his football career with the Troy Trojans, playing defensive end. He was the 2003 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year, and a 2x Ali-Sun Belt selection.
