After the 9/11 strike, the acclaimed chef Greenspan relocated to Los Angeles, where he opened his first restaurant, The Foundry, in 2007. The restaurant received terrific reviews and was nominated for numerous awards and accolades.

The 47-year-old chef, Eric, owns numerous restaurants in Los Angeles and other parts of America. Mr. Greenspan is the founder and owner of The Foundry in Melrose, Greenspan's Grilled Cheese in New York, and The Roof of Wilshire in Los Angeles.

American native Eric Greenspan is a publicly praised celebrity chef who is also the author of two cookbooks: Cook Up Confort with Eric Greenspan and The Great Grilled Cheese Book: Grown-Up Recipes for a Childhood Classic. 

Eric has traveled on the train in New York with several celebrated chefs, including Alain Ducasse, Rocco DeSpirito, and David Bouley. He has also apprenticed at the three-star Michelin chef Ferran Adria's El Bulli in Rosas, Spain.
